We stock travellers’ medical supplies which can be tailored to your destination and medical history. You will receive relevant advice on medications to prevent and/or treat common travel-related ailments, including malaria prophylaxis.
We can supply:
- A medication authorisation letter for you to present to Customs officials if necessary.
- Easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions that tell you exactly what to take and when.
Fees & Charges
The consultation fee is estimated at $180. A medicare rebate of $79.70 will apply (if you are not travelling for work).
Vaccinations will be charged separately.

Additionally, the cost of your vaccines may be claimable through your private health insurance fund (depending on your level of cover).

You will be provided with an individual vaccination book as part of your consultation. This will list which vaccines you have had, what they are for, and how long they last.
This internationally accredited vaccination record book may be required throughout your travel, eg before you are permitted to enter certain countries, or even to return to Australia after visiting certain destinations.

For patients who are not certain of what vaccinations they’ve had (or when), we can arrange a blood test to check antibody levels for some common travel diseases.
Additionally, Dr Grey is able to access the Australian Immunisation Record to see the the details of vaccinations you have previously received.
